House Concerts

Let's bring live music to your living room or back yard
House concerts have become a beloved tradition throughout Maine. They are small, intimate shows where everyone really listens and sinks into the music. There are no phones or distractions—just music and togetherness. It's a wonderful way to spend a relaxing evening with friends, family, and neighbors.
I would love to visit your house and perform live for the people you care about.
I bring the music. You provide a comfortable listening space and invite your guests. Whether you've hosted a house concert before or this is your first time, I'll guide you through the process and make it easy.
What does a house concert look like?
Every gathering is a little different, but a typical evening might look something like this.
- 5 pm: I arrive and set up
- 6 pm: Guests arrive and mingle
- 7 pm: The show!
- 8 pm: More hanging out
- 9 pm: Time to pack up
- 10 pm: Hugs and goodbyes
FAQ
What makes a good location? You can have a wonderful house concert in any comfortable listening space, indoors or outdoors.
How many guests should I invite? 20-50 is ideal, but it depends on your space. Let's talk about it.
Do I need a sound system? No need. I will bring one.
How does payment work? House concerts usually are donations-based, with guests contributing around what they might pay for a ticket to a local concert. We can talk about what makes sense for your gathering. I will have CDs for sale too.
How long do you play? I find that 60 minutes usually is perfect.
Why host a house concert?
Because it is an excuse to get your favorite people together, slow down, and share an experience everyone will remember long after the last note.
I would love to be part of that.
